Back when the New England region was settled by Europeans, they looked at the land for its opportunities and feasibility of husbandry. They saw the land as needing to be improved - something that was a foreign concept to the native Indians. The early Colonists of those days saw value in the land, and we continue in this tradition today at J & D. We see your property as your personal valuable asset and we seek to improve it for you. We look at your yard in terms of the overall value and beauty of each species. Since 1961 when my father Dominic Verdi founded the company he has had an old saying: "My name MEANS GREEN!" In Italian is of course what he meant. But I continue to honor his tradition of green. Let us IMPROVE YOUR LAND! |
